The Treatment for Herpes HVS 1 (Oral Herpes)

The Herpes HVS 1 or known as the Oral Herpes is infected the mouth area like lips, tongue, gums, roof of the mouth and the inside of the cheek. The infection can effect fever and muscle ache. But, people can know it from the sore in the mouth area. The infection will make the sufferers feel pain which make them hard to eat and also drink. Seeing doctor can be done to heal the sore. Then, it is done to prevent other disease such as dehydration which created because of the sore.

After diagnosed by Herpes HVS 1, people can give treatment. One kind of the treatment can be done at home. People can take acetaminophen  such as Panadol or ibuprofen such as Motrin. Those drugs help to cure the fever and ache in the muscle. In children cases, it shows that it is the trigger of asthma. Even though the sore is quite painful, but the sufferers should take enough water to prevent the dehydration. Then, contact with the lesion and its secretion should avoid preventing the spread.

Suffers also can take medical treatment to heal the Herpes HVS 1. It is also done to cure the fever. People who suffer the infection will need a topical anesthetic for example viscous lidocaine. It can be used for the fever and muscle ache. Oral medication can be done. But, it is not recommended. It can be taken by people who have weak immune system, baby who is not longer than six weeks, and people who have serious disease. However, some cases require intensive treatment which forces them to stay in hospital. Some cases of Herpes HSV 1 are quite serious. Then, it will need to use antiviral drugs which are acyclovir (Zovirax), valacyclovir (Valtrex), famciclovir (Famvir), topical acyclovir. Otherwise, sufferers can use cream. But it can be effective for the early development.

However, the treatment mostly only heals the infection which happens in the skin. It does not kill the virus which available in the body. Other recommended treatment is laser. It can prevent the virus to reoccur in the short period.
